(Los Angeles, CA) Random Media and Alchemy are releasing the documentary film, “THE FORECASTER”, onDIGITAL HD, On Demand and Satellite Platforms on November 10th.
Directed by Marcus Vetter, “The Forecaster” documents the life of MARTIN ARMSTRONG, once a US-based, trillion-dollar financial advisor who developed a computer model based on the number pi to predict major economic turning points with incredible precision.
In 1999 the FBI stormed his offices in an attempt to confiscate his computer model and then accused him of a 3 billion dollar Ponzi scheme. However, ARMSTRONG tells a different story. He says it was an attempt to silence him and to prevent him from initiating a public discourse on the real Ponzi scheme of debts that the world has been building up for decades.
After serving 11 years in prison and never having been charged with a crime, ARMSTRONG finally gets to tell his side of the story, a tale of backroom deals, corrupt foreign governments and greed at the highest level. As part of the amazing story of how Armstrong developed and was punished for his forecasts, Armstrong predicts that a sovereign debt crisis will start to unfold on a global level in late 2015 – a major pi turning point that his computer model forecasted many years ago.
