Matt Jacobs grew up in New York City. He holds a bachelors degree in Fine Art from Bard college, and an MFA in Painting from The School Of Visual Arts. He’s exhibited his paintings on both the east and West Coast and is in collections on three continents. Other than a few stints as production assistant and set dresser on several low budget short films and features, “From Hollywood to Rose” is his first film. It won Best Comedic Screenplay at the Manhattan Film Festival, and Best Comedy Feature at The Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival. Matt continues to write, paint, and has recently started doing stand up comedy. He can be seen at The Comedy Store in West Hollywood and Flappers in Burbank.
With his wife Eve, his three sons, cat Stitch and his dog, Boom Boom, Matt splits his time between New York, LA and Provincetown, Mass.
Liz Graham started her career as a Script Supervisor on various film and television projects and is now a first time director. She co directed the feature film “From Hollywood to Rose” which won Best Comedy Feature at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival in February of 2017. It’s also been an Official Selection in the Manhattan Film Festival and the Coney Island Film Festival.
Liz completed a Directing Intensive for Women Workshop taught by Film Director Tara Miele in June of 2015. She is currently working on a narrative short and a PSA. Liz continues to work as a script supervisor and is a member of the Alliance of Woman Directors.
