Sarah Kapoor is an award-winning filmmaker and partner at Pollinator Films. Her work has aired in too many places to list, but her favorite mention is when Oprah said her name and played a segment of her Past Life Investigation series on her show. That was so thrilling and nerve-wracking that Sarah hid in a janitorial area while it was happening. After spending her 20s working in news and format creation at the CBC, she co-founded her own production company. The choice to be her own boss was inspired by having children. She is inventing a model for story-telling that supports bringing the internal journey of a character to the forefront. Her latest film, The Bad Mother, applies the model for the first time and is slated for worldwide release this summer. She credits her childhood for providing the perfect mixture of boredom, anxiety and encouragement to foster creativity.
