Travis GutiƩrrez Senger is an American Director, Writer and Producer whose films have won top awards at the Tribeca Film Festival, SXSW, and other notable festivals. He recently completed his debut feature, Desert Cathedral, starring Lee Tergesen (Oz, Generation Kill, Monster) and Chaske Spencer (The Twilight Saga, Banshee). The film will be released in 2016 by Random Media.
His documentary short, “White Lines and the Fever: The Death of DJ Junebug,” featuring old school hip-hop legends Kurtis Blow and DJ Hollywood, won awards at Tribeca, SXSW, and the Seattle Int’l Film Festival in 2010.He is currently in development on two narrative features: Freewolves, a hallucinatory dark comedy-drama about two brothers who enter a state-funded rehab in New York City; and, The Rapture, a period drama set in the old-school days of hip-hop with executive producer Christopher “Play” Martin.
